Project Description
This project created a vision and long-range plan to guide the development of the community over the next 20 years. The plan includes recommendations on zoning, traffic, railroad operations, land use regulations, parking, streetscape design, and a financial plan to implement the vision.
Mark Leese’s Role
Mark Leese worked with the community to develop a series of alternatives for future land development in areas immediately adjacent to the village, while with a previous firm.
In 2012 the project was selected for a National Association of Counties (NACo) Achievement Award.
