Project Description
Mark Leese, while with a previous firm, developed this plan for the redevelopment of downtown Parker. The plan includes:
• Short range and long-range action plans
• Traffic, parking, and access
• Organizational structure and funding
• Urban design, character and identity components
The final product was an implementation strategy that includes step-by-step instructions for the creation of a vital downtown strong on reinforcing its sense of place, character and heart.
Mark Leese’s Role
Mark Leese conducted public workshops and a charrette; developed the conceptual traffic, access, and parking plans; and developed the urban design, character, and identity elements of the plan.
