Project Description
Olde Town Arvada is the focus of a citywide effort to revitalize the downtown and residential neighborhoods surrounding it. The Citizen Advisory Committee said that the design had to reflect the core values of “solid, workmanlike, sturdy, durable and authentic.” The design includes brick sidewalks, brass “welcome” medallions on the street corners, bike posts designed to resemble horse hitching posts, and a collection of sturdy and durable street furniture elements.
