Downtown Colorado Springs Transportation Center Feasibility Study
Project Description
Mark Leese worked with the City of Colorado Springs Transit Services Division to complete site plan studies and an EA for the site of the proposed Downtown Transportation Station, which ultimately will be a multi-modal center for Front Range commuter rail, regional bus service, and Greyhound buses.
Mark Leese’s Role
Mark Leese developed the alternative site plans, design program, and an architectural concept for a multimodal station and joint development that would anchor west downtown redevelopment efforts and provide a pedestrian connection over the railroad tracks to the America the Beautiful Park adjacent to I-25.
